Information for Troop 457 Comittee.....

We are registered Adult Leaders that provide support and resources so that the  troop program runs.

Meetings are the 4th Thursday of each Month, 7-9 PM and are held at Committee member’s homes.

Our  monthly agenda looks like this:

Troop Committee meetings are always open. If you have a topic for discussion, please contact the Committee Chair, Jack Cook at (734) 429-7805 or e-mail, in advance so it can be included in the agenda.

Meeting minutes are distributed to registered adult leaders via e-mail, where addresses are provided.

Minutes of past meetings are kept by the Secretary and Committee Chair.

Troop 457 is a boy-run program and we are committed to supporting the program developed by the Scouts and Scoutmasters, based on BSA ideals and guidelines. The Committee works “side by side” with the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters to encourage boys to live the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. As adult leaders, we share the same challenges and can realize the same sense of fun and accomplishment through the Scouting program.
